It has so far been a colossal waste of time. Seeing the number of comments here going on about what a shitstorm Poshmark is here just tells me to stay the hell away from it. Absurd right. I now have 399,568 users and I am a top rated seller however, the sales have dropped significantly and the buyers have become more and more rude and downright nasty. With mercari, I sold a drone that was worth ALOT more then my asking price ($300), and I had barely used it at all so it was in new condition. I do not care for bartering over my items. Makes the item virtually impossible to sell and the seller is screwed. even when the tags are attached theyre still trying to get something for nothing and thats the frustrating part! There are blogs, Instagram pages, and groups on Facebook devoted to beating the system of Poshmarks wicked algorithms. I have so so many high end items on there without any problems but I think I had just been lucky until now. eBay is certainly not without its headaches. So Im not inexperienced in customer service or shipping logistics. My pictures from before I sent the items dont reflect this any damage, and it took the girl 48 hours to decline the purchase. For example, I sold a pair of shoes and the buyer didnt like the fit. When I did that, my closets bio link disappeared, and I wasnt able to follow anyone anymore. Now I am trying to decide which way to go. The buyer opened a dispute claiming its not as described and is broken. There are way too many scammers on this site, too much time wasted for slow to no sales. And forget about offering gallery-quality jewelry on Poshmark.
