Zeta you did do great this year but you were rushing against Tri Delt, Alpha Phi, and AXO more than anyone else. I'm a 00s alum from a house that used to sit very comfortably just beneath the Big 6. As long as you realize that the average frat guy is not out for meaningful relationships (especially freshman and sophomore years) the better chance you have at not falling prey to the you are so special garbage. ,With that out of the way, SoccerGirlNYC had some pretty sage advise. That thing that has changed the most is the KappaKappa Gammas are known for hazing. They do have a reputation, like Kappa, of being snobby, but Kappa seems to care more about their 'image' than Theta or Pi Phi. I'm not a member of either, but I read it and thought "Wow, somebody doesn't like the Pi Phis". Rest looks spot on. What works for one person may not work for another. Again all the "rude" terms that I just associated with each house to not describe the individuals of a house, but terms like these come about when certain houses act together in poor ways. They may like to act that way for reputation sake, but I know at least 10 who are on loans, student aid, etc. What I have learned is that we all have our pre-conceived notions about what sororities are and most of it is crap. They are rushing some of same girls as Chi O, Pi Phi, and Theta for sure but they are taking the good girls some might say boring. Its hard to generalize about a sororitys reputation nationwide; there are many differences from campus to campus. When they put on this show of being social, they can become unclassy and sloppy. Both my mom and grandmom were Kappa Deltas, and they wanted me to join so badly. I like yalls pool though. I'm a Zeta Tau Alpha and I don't wear heavy make up nor do I have a "princess complex." The reputation of Zetas ranges depending on who you talk to, but party girls is a fairly common descriptor; the less charitable have compared Zetas to the cast of the Jersey Shore. I know the same can be said for users on here but I feel like CC isn't as saturated with Greeks.

While some have strong national cultures across all chapters, there are bound to be differences from one university or college to another. Theyve got great mixers. And if you think you need to be in a sorority to "be somebody" you need therapy. Yes Zeta did well. Thats what we call panhellenic spirit, which this website clearly lacks!!!!
